Fidelis College Ethos

At Fidelis College, our aim is that every child grows into a fine young person, fulfilling their academic potential and acquiring those qualities that will help them in later life.

We aim to help each student become the best young person that they can. We do this by working in close partnership with parents to promote personal growth in every aspect of a child’s life.

In the academic sphere, we encourage a deep love of learning and a spirit of intellectual adventure while providing a solid and supportive foundation for success in public examinations.

We aim to prepare boys and girls well so that they are able to make a positive contribution to society.

Partnership with Parents

We work closely with parents to support each child’s growth, helping them reach their potential and become responsible members of society.

Chaplaincy

The chaplaincy, composed of priests from Opus Dei, is responsible for accompanying, guiding, and providing spiritual support to students, families, friends, alumni, and school staff.

The school chapel is always open, and Mass is available each day for pupils who wish to attend. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is made available frequently.

House System

At Fidelis College, the House System is a central pillar of school life, fostering community, leadership, friendship, and healthy competition across all year groups. Every pupil and member of staff is assigned to one of four Houses:

Each house is a vibrant community, offering pupils the chance to contribute, compete, lead and belong throughout their time at Fidelis.
